TREFFEN is a German word, which loosely translates to mean ‘gathering’ — an appropriate name for this summer celebration of VW and Audi enthusiasm.
Chicago Volkswagen Organization (CVO) is a non-profit organization run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. The CVO was formed to create a forum for sharing knowledge and experiences with late-model water-cooled VW’s, to improve the buying power of individual CVO members, to ensure that servicing and vehicle maintenance standards continually improve, to encourage the development and manufacture of aftermarket products by the establishment of a Midwestern market, to organize social events for CVO members and VW owners and their families and to encourage the improvement of member’s cars and their driving abilities.
